Firebomb Attack at Baltimore Hebrew Unive

The fire was started by an incendiary device, such as a Molotov cocktail, thrown at a steel door, causing no damage. It is being investigated by the department’s arson unit, but has not yet been classified as a hate crime.

“At this point, there’s nothing that would indicate that this is a hate crime,” Moses said. “They have problems with juveniles in that area.”

I wonder if this is another "
lone individual"?

Not to be confused with those "lone gunmen."

9/11 is a Laughing Matter?

Michelle Malkin has an excellent piece entitled "When did 9/11 become a laughing matter?"

I couldn't link to the actual piece so you may have to scroll down once she puts up new posts, but it's worth it.

The dhimmitude and the sheer hypocrisy of running a "satirical show" that shows Tony Blair being murdered, a plane flying in to Parliament, and a "Terrorist Awards" show.

All this from the network, the BBC, who showed their sensitivity in light of the "Muslim cartoon scandal" by saying
"When we cover any sensitive issue we have to balance our duty to report the story faithfully with our responsibility not to unnecessarily shock or offend our audience.
"It is not always an easy balance to strike, and much discussion and thought goes into decisions like these, but in making such judgements it is the interests, needs and expectations of our audience as a whole which are our guiding principle."

Hat Tip: Michelle Malkin for a fantastic example of the the "soldiers" fighting in the GWAGWOT (the Global War Against the Global War on Terror)

Murtha is Sued for Slander

This is great news!
Marine Names Murtha in Defamation Suit

A Marine Corps staff sergeant who led the squad accused of killing two dozen civilians in Haditha, Iraq, will file a lawsuit today in federal court in Washington claiming that Rep. John P. Murtha (D-Pa.) defamed him when the congressman made public comments about the incident earlier this year.

Attorneys for Frank D. Wuterich, 26, argue in court papers that Murtha tarnished the Marine's reputation by telling news organizations in May that the Marine unit cracked after a roadside bomb killed one of its members and that the troops "killed innocent civilians in cold blood." Murtha also said repeatedly that the incident was covered up.

Murtha argued that the questionable deaths of 24 civilians were indicative of the difficulties and overpowering stress that U.S. troops are facing. The congressman, a former Marine, has been a leading advocate for withdrawing U.S. forces from Iraq.

In the court filing, obtained by The Washington Post, the lawyers say that Murtha made the comments after being briefed by Defense Department officials who "deliberately provided him with inaccurate and false information." Neal A. Puckett and Mark S. Zaid, suing for libel and invasion of privacy, also wrote that Murtha made the comments outside of his official scope as a congressman.

Hopefully, this suit will shed begin to hold soldiers in the GWAGWOT like Murtha who put politics above winning the GWOT accountable for their invidious accusations that give aid and comfort to our enemies and undermine US interests.

Murtha, Cindy Sheehan, and other far left anti-war wackos should be criminally charged for their treasonous behavior. If the government won't hold them accountable then private individuals will.

18 U.S.C.A. §§ 2381 Treason
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.
