How the hell is this news?

Who cares that Michael Moore says that conservatives hug him? Plus, name one!

This "news story" was covered by more than 5 different news agencies and the rest somehow tied in his "claim of hugs" into his film festival.

Jason Smith over at Newbusters had similar thoughts and provides a better analysis.
